Wind Slicer from Wind Element, Four Pillar Binding from Ligthning Element and Trap Door from Earth Element were created to slow down Pain’s interferences although to a certain extent, Pain cannot be slowed down at all.
Pain’s new Animal Path replacement is the one who responsible in summoning gigantic creatures including the 4-headed Cerberus and black-&-white rhino.

Given that Kakashi was “dead” and Chouji’s dad was laid down, we might get to witness a clash between the Hokage and Pain himself in the coming issues. Her Katsuyu summoning is much helpful in treating injured shinobis but how much chakra might left for her? It remains unknown at least until the next issue I guess.
Something to looked up on the next chapter - does Hatake Kakashi is really a dead meat? What is it in the Asura’s head? A small creature perhaps? How the hell or how long can Hidden Leaf villagers and warriors be able to dodge Akatsuki as well as retaining their home? The last thing is, what is Konohamaru’s business on the battlefield?
